Birthday Decoration at home in Delhi NCR , Mumbai , Bangalore and Gurgoan

One for Everyone!

Every person is unique in their own way, and so should their celebrations! This is a list of tried and tested ideas for an amazing birthday bash to tickle your brain. Pick and choose to find the best combination that works for you, and make it a reality with our customisable birthday decorations!

If you fancy a party where excitement knows no bounds, we are here to plan it with you!

Simple Birthday Decorations

Some folks like to have low-key lives, and we should give them what they want. For souls who do not like to complicate things, these are simplistic, convenient, and extremely affordable.

As they often say, Less is More!

Aesthetic Birthday Decorations

You can always base a birthday decoration at home around a single material that the birthday person likes. Some have an affinity for balloons while some people really dig flowers. And there are some who like the chic vibes of neon signs that make pictures futuristic! Find an aesthetic that suits your taste, be it balloon decorations or a bed of flowers, and just make the party come alive!

Romantic Birthday Decorations

Never forget, you get brownie points if you remember your partner’s birthday and you can amass even more if you plan them a surprise! Romance them off their feet with a great dining experience, or decorate their room like a floating castle, so you can make their smiles go wider than their eyes on the special day.

For the love you hold for your significant other, here are some amazing birthday decorations, some for him annd of course, some for her!

what's a birthday without a present! Find the perfect gift here to match the occasion! understand

Kids Birthday Decorations

When it comes to kids, you have to make the day as special as it can be so that when they grow up and celebrate even more, they will always remember the birthdays they had in their childhood. Nothing better than making it a memory as loving as it would be nostalgic.

These are some ideas for first birthdays that they might not remember but will definitely look back to in pictures. So do well!

If your kid loved the Boss Baby movie or has an intense love for unicorns or simply cannot stop humming the latest Cocomelon jingle, these kids themed decorations are just the thing for you. Greet them with a birthday celebration as wonderful as the adventures of Spider-Man and we promise, their happiness will be at an all-time high!

You can also book exciting birthday activities like magic shows and tattoo parlors (temporary and safe, don’t worry!) here for a birthday as happening as the stories they tell when they are back from school!

Pet-safe Decoration for Paw-fect Birthdays

Pets are a part of the family, and every pet parent will agree with us. So don’t forget to celebrate their birthdays with a party as joyous as their smiles!

Open Space Decorations

Some celebrations should best happen under the open sky so you can feel the breeze as it flickers the candle on the cake and makes it a scene right out of the movies! So plan a party on your terrace or garden, or even the boot space of a car, the possibilities are simply endless!

Remember, you can share with us the plans in your mind and our team of experts will try their best to make it happen for a spectacular birthday celebration!

Bangalore

Bangalore takes its birthdays seriously, from first-birthday productions to low-key milestone dinners, and the setup is what turns the living room into the party. The catch is the traffic, so the last thing you want is to be ferrying balloons across town. Leave that to a decorator from your side of the city, who arrives with the full theme and has your cake wall ready in about an hour. Birthday decoration in Bangalore starts at Rs 1,499, with same-day slots open across the east, south and central areas.

Where we set up in Bangalore

We cover the east around Whitefield and Marathahalli, the south through Koramangala, HSR, BTM and Electronic City, the central areas, and the north. We cover:

  • East: Whitefield, Marathahalli, Brookefield, KR Puram, Mahadevapura
  • South: Koramangala, HSR Layout, BTM, Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Electronic City, Sarjapur Road
  • Central: Indiranagar, MG Road, Domlur, Ulsoor
  • North: Hebbal, Yelahanka, Hennur, RT Nagar
  • West: Rajajinagar, Malleshwaram, Vijayanagar

Drop your pincode at booking to confirm a slot near you.

Birthdays at home in Bangalore

Thanks to the weather, a lot of Bangalore birthdays spill onto a balcony or an apartment terrace, and a themed backdrop with warm lights looks lovely out there in the evening.

Indoors, a compact flat in Koramangala or HSR wants one strong wall behind the cake, while a villa out in Whitefield or Sarjapur can carry a full arch and ceiling balloons. First birthdays and kids theme parties are our busiest bookings here, often in the society clubhouse, so tell us the space and the theme and we will build to match.

Description

Birthday decoration, built around your celebration

The best birthdays happen at home now, and the setup is what turns an ordinary living room into the party. That's the bit we handle for you. You pick a design, a verified decorator arrives with the balloons, the backdrop, the foil name and number, and the lights, builds it all in about an hour, and clears it away once the cake's been cut. Setups start at Rs 1,499, the themes cover every age, and in most areas you can book for the same day. A first birthday, a surprise for your partner, a milestone number for a parent, you choose the look and we take care of the rest.

What's included, and how it works

You don't shop for anything or blow up a single balloon, because everything the design needs comes with the decorator. The booking takes a couple of minutes: pick a setup, add your city and address, choose a date and time, and confirm. We'll call you before the slot, set up in 60 to 90 minutes, and leave the room ready for your guests. And if it's a surprise, just say so when you book, and we'll coordinate quietly so everything's finished before the birthday person walks in.

Birthday themes for every age

Kids and adults want very different birthdays, and the theme is where that shows most. For the little ones, the setups we build most are Cocomelon and Peppa for toddlers, then Jungle, Unicorn, Frozen, Mickey and Minnie, superhero and car themes as they grow up. For adults, black and gold leads by a distance for a grown-up evening, with soft pastels, a clean minimal look and retro themes close behind. Seen something you love on Instagram or Pinterest? Send it across when you book, and we'll tell you honestly whether it works in your space and what it'll cost.

The one thing that makes a birthday setup photograph well

Here's the single most useful thing we've learned after thousands of birthdays. You don't need balloons around the whole room, you need one strong, well-lit backdrop behind the cake table. That's where the cake cutting, the candles and the group photos all happen, so that's where the setup should be richest. A focused backdrop almost always photographs better than a big, scattered one, and it usually costs a little less too. So when you book, point us to where the cake table's going, and that's exactly where the effort lands.

First birthday setups

A first birthday is the one families photograph the most, so it's worth getting right. Picture a soft pastel arch or wall, a big foil number one, a decorated cake table, and a clear corner kept ready for photos. Because everyone's taking pictures all evening, we build around that one strong backdrop rather than spreading balloons thinly around the room. It's a small choice, but it's the difference between lovely first-birthday photos and cluttered ones.

Milestone and adult birthdays

Not every birthday is for a child, and the big adult numbers deserve a look of their own. For an 18th, 21st or 30th, black and gold or a chrome finish sets a grown-up tone, usually with the age in large foil numbers and a lit name board. For a parent's 50th or 60th, families often want something warmer and more dignified, so we lean towards a soft floral backdrop, a printed photo display spanning the years, and a comfortable seat at the centre for the cake and the group picture. Whatever the milestone, share the age and the mood you're after and we'll pitch the design to match, elegant rather than childish.

Simple and budget birthday decoration at home

A birthday doesn't need a big production to feel special. From Rs 1,499 you get a clean, photo-ready look, and for under Rs 2,000 you can have a two-colour balloon wall, a foil Happy Birthday banner, fairy lights and a tidy cake-table corner. These are sized for regular apartment living rooms, and they're a favourite for quiet family birthdays and last-minute plans where the gesture matters more than the scale.

Surprise birthday decoration

A surprise only works if the room's ready and cleared before the birthday person arrives, and that timing is exactly the part we take off your hands. Tell us it's a surprise when you book and we'll plan it quietly with someone at home, whether that's a sibling, a partner or building security. Surprise setups for a partner, a parent or a close friend are among our most-booked designs, and midnight is easily the busiest slot for them.

Same-day and midnight birthday setups

Birthday plans often come together late, and that's completely fine. Same-day birthday decoration runs in most areas as long as you book early in the day. Midnight setups are one of our most-requested slots, with the decorator arriving late in the evening and finishing before twelve, so the room's ready the moment the birthday begins. If that's what you're after, book a few hours ahead and we'll confirm it's available in your city.

Birthday decoration for any space: room, wall, stage or terrace

A birthday setup adapts to wherever you're celebrating. In a living room, a single feature wall behind the cake table does most of the work. For a bigger party, a stage or a named backdrop with the age anchors the room, and terraces or banquet halls take an entry arch and a seating corner. Just share the space when you book and we'll scale the design to it, so it never feels squeezed in or spread too thin.

What birthday decoration costs

Let's talk numbers plainly. Birthday decoration at home starts at Rs 1,499. A simple balloon wall with a banner sits between Rs 1,499 and Rs 2,499, a themed setup with foil balloons, character props and lights runs Rs 2,500 to Rs 5,000, and premium work with a ring backdrop, a lit name board or fresh flowers goes from Rs 5,000 upward. Three things move the price: the balloon count and type, since plain latex is cheapest and chrome and foil cost a little more, the add-ons you choose, and your city. Whatever you see at booking is what you pay, with no visit fee and nothing added on at the door.

SetupTypical price
Simple, under Rs 2,000Rs 1,499 to Rs 1,999
Standard themedRs 2,000 to Rs 3,499
With fairy lightsRs 2,000 to Rs 4,499
Kids theme and characterRs 2,499 to Rs 8,999
Premium and luxuryRs 5,000 and above

Formats and colours that work

Not sure where to start? The formats families reach for most are a named wall behind the cake, an arch over the cake table, a half arch with a big foil number for milestones, a premium ring with a lit name board, and ceiling balloons when wall space is tight. On colour, black and gold reads grown-up, brights and rainbow suit kids, soft pastels are lovely for a first birthday, and rose gold gives a warm, premium finish. Pick the age and theme, and we'll match the palette to it.

Why families book HORA for birthdays

It comes down to a few simple things. Verified decorators in all 8 cities, honest pricing from Rs 1,499, an on-time setup and a full cleanup, and real photographs from actual birthday setups rather than stock images. Thousands of birthdays set up, and a 5.0 rating from verified customers who mostly found us after one uneven experience elsewhere.

FAQ

Do you offer same-day birthday decoration in Bangalore?
toggle
Yes, across most of the city if you book early in the day, with midnight setups available for surprises. Because we keep separate teams for East, South and North Bangalore, a booking in Whitefield does not wait on a decorator coming from Jayanagar.
Which areas of Bangalore do you cover?
toggle
Whitefield, Koramangala, HSR, Indiranagar, Jayanagar, JP Nagar, Electronic City, Sarjapur Road, Hebbal and more. Add your pincode at booking to confirm your area.
How much does balloon decoration cost at home?
toggle
It starts at Rs 1,499 for a simple setup, and most themed and premium looks land between Rs 2,500 and Rs 9,000. Where you fall in that range depends on three things: how many balloons the design uses and whether they're plain, chrome or foil, the extras you add like fresh flowers or a lit name board, and your city. You'll see the full price at booking, and it doesn't change on the day.
Do you offer same-day and midnight balloon decoration?
toggle
Yes to both. Same-day setups run in most areas as long as you book early in the day, so a birthday you only remembered this morning is still very doable. Midnight slots are popular for partner and close-friend surprises, and for those we ask for a few hours notice so we can line up a decorator and confirm availability in your city.
It's a surprise. How do you manage that without giving it away?
toggle
This is one of our most common bookings, so we've got it down to a routine. Tell us it's a surprise when you book, and we'll coordinate quietly with a family member, a flatmate or building security to get access. The decorator finishes the setup, sends you a confirmation photo, and is gone well before the celebrant arrives, so they walk into a fully decorated room with no idea how it got there.
What kinds of balloons do you use?
toggle
A mix, chosen to suit the design. Plain and chrome latex balloons build the arches and walls, foil balloons handle the name, the age number and any shapes like stars or hearts, and helium and ceiling balloons create the floating clusters. You don't need to specify any of this, the decorator simply brings the right combination for the setup and budget you choose.
Will the setup fit my room, and can I change the theme?
toggle
Yes on both counts. We plan every setup around your room size, so a compact 1BHK gets a single feature wall and ceiling clusters rather than arches crowding the floor, while a larger room can take a full backdrop. And the theme's entirely yours to shape. You can change the colours, the style, the name backdrop and the add-ons, and if you've seen something you like on Instagram or Pinterest, send it across and we'll tell you honestly how close we can get in your space.
Do you decorate venues and offices, or only homes?
toggle
Both. Homes and apartments are the bulk of what we do, but we also set up in hotels, banquet halls, farmhouses and offices. Just mention the venue when you book so the decorator can plan the access, the timing and the right scale for the space.
Is balloon decoration safe around babies and small children?
toggle
Yes, and we plan for it deliberately. Balloons are inflated away from the seating, everything's secured so nothing can fall, and loose balloons and small parts are kept out of reach. For a newborn or a first birthday, let us know and we'll keep the setup gentle and clear of the baby's area, and skip anything strongly scented nearby.
Which cities does HORA cover?
toggle
We cover Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad, with a dedicated decorator team in each so same-day service is genuinely available and not just promised.
How long does the setup take, and do you clean up afterward?
toggle
Most setups take 60 to 90 minutes to install, and a larger or more detailed design a little longer. The cleanup's always included, so once your event's over the decorator clears the balloons, the props and the tape, and leaves your space exactly as it was.
